How my journey began
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor – Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP), High Performance and Sport Psychology Coach with a deep passion for helping athletes, musicians, and creative professionals improve their performance, mental health, and relationships. My approach is collaborative, integrative, and tailored to each individual—because no two journeys are the same.
Before stepping into the world of mental health, I spent over 15 years in the music and entertainment industry as a publicist, bridging the gap between artists and the media. From guiding up-and-coming talents to household recognition, to working alongside some of the most celebrated names in music, film, and television—I’ve seen firsthand the unique pressures and demands placed on creative professionals and performers.
My own background as a national-level Acrobatic Gymnastics competitor in high school gave me early insight into the physical and psychological demands of high performance. Whether it's training, performing, or recovering, I understand the toll it can take—not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
Today, I combine my personal experience and professional training to help clients navigate creative blocks, performance anxiety, perfectionism, co-occurring disorders, unhealthy coping strategies, and major life transitions. Together, we work to uncover your authentic self, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build sustainable strategies that support your goals and well-being.
In our work together, I utilize evidence-based practices within a creative and individualized framework, because I believe the approach should be as unique as you are. Whether you're seeking peak performance, healing, clarity, or change—you don't have to do it alone.
Outside of my work, I enjoy attending live concerts, films, traveling, hiking, rock climbing, and spending time with my dog Hodor (yes, named after Game of Thrones).
Why the name Play in the Gray?
